WATER (2021-2022)
Water - Mirror of Inspiration
Clear water eludes our gaze, yet it reveals a world full of wonders. In constant change, it refracts light like a liquid prism, breaking down colors and transforming the ground into a living kaleidoscope. Its surface becomes a magical mirror, capturing and distorting the surroundings while thousands of sun sparks dance upon it.
Water has always captivated artists - as a religious symbol, a depiction of nature, or a mirror of the self. We sink into thoughts, dive into memories.
For Claude Monet, the fleeting color and light reflections on the water's surface became an obsession. In his later works, he dissolved reality in favor of poetic carpets of color with magical power.
In my observations of water, I discover forms beyond traditional figuration, colors of strong emotional impact, and images that remind me of the works of Abstract Expressionists. These artists sought to bring inner landscapes onto the canvas, using dynamic structures and intense colors to represent not only physical reality but also inner movements.
My photographs invite you to dive into this fascinating world, where the boundary between the concrete and the abstract blurs. Here, you can discover your own reflections and, like the Abstract Expressionists, explore both the outer nature and your inner self in the images.
